Yup, that's what I decided to do.  It's reasonable and won't break the bank too much.  There are several levels you could go with it...........

A.  one sketch for the series is fine!
B.  one sketch from each artist
C.  all 20 from Jay Lynch
D.  royal flush - same title from each 12 artists (this one would be very challenging!)
E.  all 20 from Jay Lynch + one of each other artist (me do this)
F.  all 20 from Jay Lynch + one of each other artist with no duplicating titles
G. all 20 from all artists, 240 total! (for psychos!)

I had been hoping for 1 of each sketch title, while also having at least one from each artist.  Not looking promising.

I could see how that would be tricky.  Its only been a couple days though.

I'm missing 5 artists (Camera, Griffith, Gross, Kirscht, Zapata), and 5 titles (Aqua Hellva, Milk Foam, Mr. Faulty, Mrs. Klean, Sue Mee).

Maybe I can trade you a Lynch Ka-boo for a Camera or Kirscht - can you PM me scans of your trade cards?

But are you going for all 20 of Jay's as well?  As far as Dave's I'm starting to wonder how many he did.  At least one should have surfaced by now!

Jays should be pretty plentiful so you should be able to get them all. They will all show up soon on ebay to help you fill holes. I'm guessing he did around 150 of each character while the other artists did 10 or less.

That's what I'm thinking too.  150 each is the # I heard, and it should be easy enough, and prices should settle near 20 bucks each once the dust settles a bit.

So an Engstrom Kook-Aid is rarer than the Lynch version?? having only 10 of those drawn?? sounds good...

Are you using a system for what you are chasing or just getting ones you like?

I would like to get all of the Lynch sketches (missing 6) and a few other various from other artists. I think I'm looking for about 6-10 more sketches from various artists that appeal to me.
No real strategy.

Just going for all of Jay's is a system.  You are ahead of me too.  I have 10/20 at this point.  I haven't been very aggressive with prices thinking they will settle down in a couple weeks.  I hope that strategy doesn't bite me in the keester.

You never know. I'm not going overboard either with sketch auctions. Just been buying boxes. I have another 20 coming in Wed so hopefully that will help fill my needs.
I'm sure I'll need a couple more or I might need all. I have gotten about 4 Lynch worms and a few of his gurgles already so I hope I don't get too many repeats with this batch. This may be it for me with OLDS2 from a buying boxes perspective. I will still be on the lookout for great sketches.

I got an Engstrem clown in my one box.  I guess it is the KaBoo character?  Anyway, I have no desire to keep it so I would trade it or sell it to someone who needs it for a sketch collection they are working on.

I can provide a scan if needed.

I've had a couple of offers for trade.  One a Lynch Scary Lee and a Lynch Blunder.  Can you guys post scans of those before I decide?

That Ghoul Humor has been elusive. There should be a ton of them on eBay soon. I still need that one also. What's the deal with the Lynch Thinkies going for $150?

Yeah, plus the Ghoul seems to be more desirable for whatever reason.  It seems like it has the "Bloodweiser" thing going for it.  It's getting more money than it's rarity would suggest.  Thinkies is another one selling higher than normal, and it's not just limited to one artist.  When I do my pricing you would think all of the Jay Lynch's should be the same value but unless things change significantly I will have varying prices just like we see with the postcards.

My two Ghoul Humor sketches (Lynch and Simko) are among my favorites out of what I pulled.  Jay did a great job with the shadowing, and I like that Joe's version includes a part of the packaging in the background.  They both seem to have some 'depth'.

Was hoping for a Bill Griffith, but overall happy with the sketches I received. Debating buying a couple more boxes, but am overwhelmed with the sheer number of stickers!

Seemed like the distribution of checklists was really skewed. Out of seven boxes I ended up with 25-27 of some and 10-12 of others. Saved the packs from one box for the heck of it (for gifts, etc.). Had similar distribution issues with the 5x7 stickers and the concept cards, but overall quite pleased.

One of my sketch cards is really odd: A Zapata Kook Aid that looks like it was done while the artist was a bit... shall we say... intoxicated mb? Dunno. Ink smeared here and there. Maybe the cat came in while sketching?

Got a good distribution of sketch cards though (at least I think I did) - Zapata KookAid, Parisi Ghoul Humour, Parisi Gurgle, Parisi Aqua Hellva, Jay Lynch Sue Mee, Jay Lynch Blue Meanie, Joe Simko KaBoom, Neil Camera Blunder.

Not sure which I'm going to keep, sell, or trade at this point. :)
