General Wacky Packages Discussion / Repackaged ANS2 Cards??
« Last post by Coca-Collar on July 10, 2020, 12:07:30 AM »
Hey, it's literally been four years since I was last here lol...

But anyways, I was reorganizing and removing dupes from my collection today, and it got me thinking about some of the ones I got maybe about a year or two ago that were from ANS2

They were found in a Fred Meyer store in a checkout aisle, with something about "Fairfield International" and the fact that they were repackaged printed on the back of the box, if I remember correctly

All the cards inside the packs were weirdly sticky and I struggled to pull them all apart, so it really makes me wonder if the cards really were that old, and if so, why were they still being sold like they were new?? They were also the only ones available, no newer series cards to be found from what I could tell

I dunno if anyone else has encountered this before or if this is really common or anything like that, but I just thought it was an interesting and odd thing to share here haha

I'd be interested in empty display boxes.
General Wacky Packages Discussion / Re: New 90's Wacky Puzzle

That one is REALLY fun to put together!  So great to have the vintage Wacky bits to identify.

Update:  I started the Jaymar puzzle, and am having a blast!  Doing it without the box, and I'm not sure if any pieces are missing.  After 2 hours I still need one border piece, and I've got a number of Wackys partly assembled.

The box does not have a full puzzle picture on it so it does not help much in assembling the puzzle.

Good Wacky Afternoon All,

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th and did NOT use their SlaySkool Toys! (hahahahahahahahahaha)

Forgive me if these have already been pointed out, might have missed them:

1. Is it me or is a lot of the numbering appear fuzzy or smeared?
2. The "cutting of the cards seems a bit uneven to the bottom, creating the affect the copyright notice is graded upward?
    - In other words the copyright is not flush / parallel to the bottom
3. Did they intentionally mix up the consistency of the order of the cards (1,2,3, etc) to NOT correspond with the Celestial Puzzle?
    - BAD idea if they did, so to see the puzzle, base cards must be displayed as follows: (left to right)
      15, 13, 14, 12, 11, 19, 18, 16, 17
4. The Coupon for #19 Sun Fright is printed upside down compared to the other coupons and the orientation of the parody on the other side as well as #3 Peep-Tarts

SO... Dave.....just my two sense, KISS!

QC is so important and these are very expensive on a per card basis comparatively.  Please have the printers take their time and pay attention.

Thanks for the time,

I have released a "Series 1" on my Threadless store. Check the collections and go to "Series 1" to see what the nine card set would be if I released it.

Why nine titles? That number fits in a typical Ultra Pro sheet, and eighteen titles is unrealistic for me.

I am also running a ~15% off sale on the shop in honor of Independence Day soon. Check it out, if you'd like.

Here's a link to the Threadless site:

Enjoy, if you can.
