We've already been informed by the artists that there won't be scheduled releases this year, not monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. But, something's coming! Yeah!!

This is looking to be the first major Wacky Pack set Release that is online only. Old School is more Niche I would think. This looks to be ANS. The online only cards from a few years ago were sold by the card.

I hope the chase cards or subsets will be more in line with what the monthly sets offered, and not brand new parodies. Likewise, I hope the base set will be easily attainable as well.

And here is my point exactly: looking at it on a tiny, itsy-bitsy screen (and hence, not really seeing it) led to the question asked. Maybe it would make sense to hold off on questions until you really can see it? Yes, in the overall scheme of things, this is a minor point, but it IS my point...

Andrew: I get what you're saying here. However, it can be frustrating to some of us when things are questioned which are (or are not) obvious. I really didn't mean my remark to offend anyone, but hopefully making a point such that we all can improve. For someone who enjoys humor, my advice is to have some with what is stated on this forum.

I also doubt a meaningful precise date exists.

Maybe its Topp's inverse logic. ;D I checked my account profile and settings. It appears I am not enabled for newsletters, yet I receive two emails a day from Topps. Under my account, Newsletter Settings, the checkbox is not checked next to the text "Sign Up to receive our newsletters at the e-mail address associated with your topps.com account. You can unsubscribe at any time. Read our Privacy Policy for more information." At the bottom of each email I receive, in small print, it notes I am subscribed to this newsletter as ... and shows my email address.

I am thinking we will need to purchase multiple sets in order to possibly obtain a complete set. This is based on recent sales. I doubt it will be a one shot deal for a full set. Topps needs a hook to sell multiple sets. Looking forward to info today.

Does the 5-box bundle guarantee one base set? There are 50 total parodies, and 10 basic cards per box.
I'm not ready to pull the trigger, considering the unknown here.
When basic base sets hit eBay, they will be priced close to the 5-box bundle price of $90. I can't imagine someone selling a base set for under $50.
But if I buy the 5-box bundle, I want some reassurance I get a basic base set for the $90 price.
I know some of you here with deep pockets are going to buy at least ten 5-box bundles, but I wish there was a little wiggle room for people on a budget like myself.

Although that fact only reduces the odds by about 2.5 of randomly inserted, so:
10 diff Random
1:1 1:2.6 chance of getting 10 different in 1 box
1:31.8 1:83.1 chance of getting 20 different in 2 boxes
1:28.4K 1:74.4K chance of getting 30 different in 3 boxes
1:4.1 billion 1:10.1 billion chance of getting 40 different in 4 boxes
1:1.1E+20 1:2.9E+20 chance of getting 50 different in 5 boxes
It sounds depressing when you look at that.
Patrick, do you have any "space related" odds for 1:2.9E+20. Like trying to see the Christmas decorations on my house from the moon with the unaided eye?

I had to buy 8 separate boxes; there was not 5 box bundle when I went to topps.com. There is a 5 box bundle if you click the link posted above.

I doubt there will be a guarantee of a sketch card, but one can hope!!
People trade whatever is in the set - check out the trading section for threads for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 sets. With this set, it appears there will be trading of base cards, coupons, foils, silver parallels (dammit, they did stupid color border parallels!!), and comics.

With the recent GPK Valentines set, there were two boxes, with one of them 1:10.
This doesn’t say if the red and blue are equal or not. We’ll see.

The base set should be easy enough, but the coupons are more of a concern. Wondering how easy it will be to assemble a coupon set. At least there’s one per box. Unlikely that just 50 boxes would do it; 100 might. The question is how many total boxes there are, and hence how many possible coupon sets.

That is our best hope as far as base sets go.

The question is how many total boxes there are, and hence how many possible coupon sets.
There's no expiration date on these as there has been in the past. They do say that it ships in 25-30 days, so it's difficult to tell if they have a number in mind to print, or if they'll see how many are ordered in 20 days or so and go from there. Topps has been burned for years by overprinting product that then was either destroyed or reduced in price to move. Online sales should be different since it doesn't have to be produced until after it's been ordered. If Topps has done its due diligence, then they've calculated a point where printing more is necessary -- sort of like a cost per occupied room (CPOR) in the hospitality industry, where more staff is needed at some point when more rooms are occupied.

I think it could sell out, too. The GPK Valentine set Patrick mentioned earlier sold out in something like an hour!

I suppose that depends on how they're printed. Are they still using 132 title uncut sheets, or is there another process. If there were 5 distinct groups randomly inserted into boxes, then buying 5 boxes would give you the same odds (about 1:26) of getting 5 sets of the same 10 as it would to get 5 unique sets of 10.
The more I crunch these odds, the worse I feel about buying a 5-box bundle.

Its a choice for each of us consumers to make, but i am struggling here on whether to spend $90 and probably come up with 30-35 unique titles (admittedly with some chasers to trade) or just wait for the more well-off to buy a bunch, pick out the chasers, and then hope to score a base set of all 50 titles later on Flea-bay….life was so much easier when you begged your parents for as many nickels as you could get…and then bought that many packs…

What are you possibly asking for just one base set with maybe an empty box? This will determine if I buy a 5-count box bundle or not.

Hopefully, score a sketch and that will help to payoff the initial investment by putting it up on Ebay. Just thinking outloud. Looking forward to trading as that is a favorite childhood memory.

I dont see what you see, that scrolling bar is not a list of contents. It is a generic scroll bar that shows for the one box and the 5 box.

I was happy to see the announcement of a new series. But, like others, am conflicted about what I will buy. I'm a completist and would buy the 5 box option if I knew I'd get a full base set (and some inserts). And while trading in person is fun, I"m not such a fan of having to do extensive trading through the mail (too time-consuming and expensive with postage unless it's just for a couple cards). I'm guessing/hoping Topps, or the artists on this forum, will share some more info to help inform my decision. If nothing else, I may just buy a base set on ebay. In any case (and I'm sorry if this sounds negative), how this set is being sold is not how I would wish it to be done (ideally, in packs at retail with a decent shot to complete a base set without spending tons). Also, I like the sketch cards and comics a lot, but rainbow foil and silver parallel do nothing for me.

Yeah...I agree with your logic. I ordered the 5 box bundle as well. I just hope there are enough trading opportunities. I purchased it with free shipping, so I will get my package later than a lot of people here.

Many of you are talking about bundles of 5 boxes for $90. Where is that link? On the Topps website I want to buy 10 boxes, but doesn't show any discount.

I'm probably going the 5 pack route as well and glad I see others doing the same thing so there should be enough floating around in the trading forum for everyone to complete a base set.

Before I purchase, I wouldn't mind knowing what the odds are of getting a comic as one of the hits.....is it 1:2 or less likely?
I like the comics and would like to get all 5, but if they are extremely rare, then it just isn't worth the effort to purchase additional sets to try to get them since the silver parallels and foils aren't of interest to me.

yeah, it would be great if they gave the odds for the comics, silvers and foils.
my thought is possibly 1:5, but without any print runs or more odds given, there's just no real way to know.

I do, however, like the coupons, but one would have to buy 50 boxes just for a chance to collect all 50 coupons! I, too, am worried about Topps' collation on the sets; the packers haven't always done a great job on collating the past few years. I bought 20 boxes and pray I don't wind up with 20 each of the same 10 base cards! As for the coupons...well, I'm not handing Topps $900 and still not get all of them, so I've accepted the fact that if I want them, I'll have to consider secondary sources.

Not too surprisingly, Wackys were also made of two products of the West only; namely, MJB Coffee and Pearson's Nut Goodie.
That's all the ones I know about. As far as I can tell, the vast majority of Wackys (and I mean vast!) are all products from the East.

Yes, I live in Florida, and Duke's is hot on the tail of the big national brands. It is actually preferred by Southerners. When you've drawn over 2,500 roughs, you have to start stretching for products to parody, and I couldn't pass up the chance to squeeze a Big Lebowski gag in!

to answer the actual question you asked - yes, the prior sets also always had a statement saying "Ships in XX Business Day"
initially they had an incredibly optimistic 3-5 days,
eventually dropping to a still doubtful 7-10 days,
and finally to a more realistic 14-21 days.

With varieties being slim, I'd give Duke's a spin. Miracle Whip is available and although it has an interesting taste, it isn't mayo. I have a tube of Kewpie but it can be quite overpowering and rightfully so.

So my situation is a little different but as I often had just one or two Wackys in a set I really enjoyed chasing down the parallels of my cards. It was a great way to fill a page and see fun variations on the look of the painting. I would think parallels give collectors an added dimension to collecting the set if they choose to chase ‘em. If not you still have the base to enjoy set so all good.

Jim, well I did collect them before I started working on Wackys. I think for awhile we all did. Remember Flashback 1 and ANS 7. Now maybe at the time they were new and a novelty and I think, most or at least a fair number of collectors had fun chasing them. I have parallel sets for every retail set (that had ‘em) for sure. It’s hard to speculate but I think at a minimum I would find my favorite card from the set and have a, what did we call it, a Royal Flush I think, of it. Certainly having a card in the set directed my collecting but did it change it significantly, I’m honestly not sure, maybe, maybe not.
Question is Joe, would you collect them if there're not your art?

That's what I did. When the Lightsabers (Lifesavers) parody was in ANS, I made a goal to get all of the parallels for that one, even the gold. Mainly because it's a rare time you see a Star Wars parody, and that's my other passion.

I hear what you're saying. I do wonder if Topps has ever made an honest attempt to ask WP collectors what they want in a series. I know some of you artists pass along our suggestions, and I appreciate that. I don't know how well Topps listens. I sure wish we'd see more magnets, clings, and lenticular cards.

Master List is now updated to have two segments - first part is for all the base card info and images, and the second part is for examples of sketch cards from the artists.
The sketch card post is already getting really loaded up with images, as there are a LOT of sketches in this release.
There's enough of them to have a sketch card in every 5-pack.
Pretty good deal to get 50 base cards plus a Sketch (and a bunch of other chase cards), for $90.

But when do they actually "sell out?" When they run out of chasers? I bought 5 boxes for $90, not expecting to get a complete set, hopefully I should be able to trade or buy my way to a full set. But Members like Bluedevilok spent $360 to $400 (depending on whether he or she bought individual boxes or 5-box packs) and if I had spent that kind of money, I would be extremely peeved if I did not get a full set. Chasing and trading is fun, but if it is too expensive, or borderline unattainable, collectors will give up. I agree with all of the posters who say different colored borders are not worth chasing, sketch cards or comics or ads are...

And knowing scalpers these days, they are finding creative ways to sell items that they list as "brand new and sealed" but are tampered with.
They develop techniques to carefully open the boxes to examine the contents. If it didn't have a sketch card, they reseal it and sell it.

I was happy to see the announcement of a new series. But, like others, am conflicted about what I will buy. I'm a completist and would buy the 5 box option if I knew I'd get a full base set (and some inserts). And while trading in person is fun, I"m not such a fan of having to do extensive trading through the mail (too time-consuming and expensive with postage unless it's just for a couple cards). I'm guessing/hoping Topps, or the artists on this forum, will share some more info to help inform my decision. If nothing else, I may just buy a base set on ebay. In any case (and I'm sorry if this sounds negative), how this set is being sold is not how I would wish it to be done (ideally, in packs at retail with a decent shot to complete a base set without spending tons). Also, I like the sketch cards and comics a lot, but rainbow foil and silver parallel do nothing for me.

I took a leap of faith pre-ordering the 5-box bundle. Crossing fingers the collation is organized where we get one base set.
Either way, I can't imagine base sets selling for under $75, unless there are a lot of them listed where sellers get desperate and continue lowering their prices.
Hopefully I can get some of my money back selling the coupon cards, silver parallels and sketch card...if I'm extremely lucky! I have a feeling that a very few of us are going to want to complete the silver parallel set. I can predict those selling on eBay for low prices.

So I received my 2023 Wacky Packages today. First of all, I want to say that the series is stellar! Funny gags and wonderful artwork on all of them. A great set conceived and painted by the artists.
BUT I've got a beef with Topps. The collation is awful, and the hits are NOT what was advertised. As for collation, the cards are inserted randomly, which is okay, but it was much worse than the randomness of the packs I used to buy at Target. Out of 20 sets I ordered, I didn't even get one complete base set--not a single #15 (Big)--black border, silver border, rainbow foil, none. And there was no hope of getting a second complete base set.
Also, the description of the set stated--and I looked it up again--that there would be 2 hits per pack, and under "hits," the description states, "Coupons - One plus additional parallel/insert." Wouldn't that mean that each pack should have one coupon and one parallel/insert? I got 2 hits per pack, all right, but I only got FOUR coupons, 21 silver borders, 11 foils, 4 out of the supposed 5 comics, and 2 (really well done) sketches (but Topps' advertised "odds" would have gotten me 4). And guess what? I only collect the comics and coupons, although that's gonna have to go by the wayside on this set since there is close to zero chance that I will be able to find/purchase 46 coupons!
I don't know how many people have opened their packs yet, but be forewarned. Or maybe it's just my sad luck. Or maybe it's the silver-border demons getting back for unkind comments earlier on. Leave it to Topps to mess up the roll-out of a really great set for which their writers and artists worked so hard to put out a great product.

I got 2 hits per pack, all right, but I only got FOUR coupons, 21 silver borders, 11 foils, 4 out of the supposed 5 comics, and 2 (really well done) sketches (but Topps' advertised "odds" would have gotten me 4). And guess what? I only collect the comics and coupons, although that's gonna have to go by the wayside on this set since there is close to zero chance that I will be able to find/purchase 46 coupons!
I don't know how many people have opened their packs yet, but be forewarned. Or maybe it's just my sad luck. Or maybe it's the silver-border demons getting back for unkind comments earlier on. Leave it to Topps to mess up the roll-out of a really great set for which their writers and artists worked so hard to put out a great product.

There are always going to be chase cards and subsets with all trading card sets, but lately it's even becoming highly expensive getting a simple base set from any trading card companies. I also collect Upper Deck Marvel cards, and was shocked when I saw a blaster box at Target with only 18 cards (3 packs of 6) in the box for $29.99. Luckily I found a seller on eBay with a 90 card base set for $75.00. I know that sounds high, but not too bad considering.

Super excited to see these cards being shipped. I know it’s early days but I will be trying for the silver and chrome of my 5 cards numbers 8, 17, 26, 35 and 44. If after all the tradings done, anyone still has an extra of any of those please keep me in mind, I’m happy to pay whatever the market price is for ‘em.

I thought of that, but I've gone that route before when I got January sets instead of August sets a couple of years ago. They'd ask me to send everything back to them before they would send new sets. MAYBE they'd eventually come with coupons...or maybe, like they did back then, send me sets with even worse hits since they'd be sending me what's left at the bottom of the barrel.

I will be interested in knowing how everyone else's sets arrive. You know that Topps only printed enough hits to cover the number of sets sold. If they had planned on and printed one coupon per set and only so many of the other hits, and the collators/packers started just randomly throwing in two "whatever hits" into the packs, they would soon realize that they were running out of silver borders and rainbow foils and had loads of coupons halfway through the packing process. So, the packs that were packed later are probably going to be lucky and get nothing but coupons. The early sets that were packed (like mine, evidently) were the dumping grounds for the silver borders and rainbow foils. (You're welcome, lucky double-coupon getters!)
By the way, the packers were most likely poorly programmed machines since inside each box was a sealed foil wrapper with 12 cards inside.
I HOPE y'all wind up with better collations than I did because I'll need y'all to trade with, if nothing else for the missing
#15 and the fifth Wacky Pals comic. I'll post my short list of needs (minus the long list of coupons if it were possible to collect those at this point) and LONG list of extra stuff once a thread gets started to trade.

I called Topps for a missing hit last month and they didn't require me to send the original set back - they just mailed me a foil. I was pleasantly surprised!

The printing and shipping plant is in Davie, FL, which is a short distance from Ft. Lauderdale.
There was a massive rainstorm and flooding there last Wednesday into Friday.

Same here. I’m all in for trading but my wife and I leave for 2 weeks in Germany on Thursday. Certainly willing to arrange trades if people are willing to wait until we return for items to ship.

It did occur to me today that those of you who haven't gotten shipping notices yet may actually be fortunate! Topps may have noticed that they were "hitting" wrong, stopped the shipping process, and are now in the process of repacking before they send more out. As I stated before, though, I will be interested in seeing what kind of hits are pulled by those who already got their shipping notices and have packages already on their way.
Thinking about this, I did go ahead and send Topps a complaint via email. (I have found in the past a long time ago that I get better results from email than calling.) Who knows? Maybe I'll get some coupons in a couple of months. Before, I had to send the sets back because they had sent me completely wrong sets (January instead of August). I had to send a picture of the January sets before they'd send me a return label and authorize the return, and they wouldn't send me the August sets until they received the January sets. That's a bit more than sending one missing card. Although, they obviously didn't trust me while I should be the one not trusting them--and true, I didn't. In my complaint, I went ahead and sent a picture of my hits to save some time. Maybe sending replacements for some hits should be less complex than replacing entire sets. But then, nothing is simple with Topps, it seems. They could have avoided all of this by simply sending out two (or more) coupon backs as hits in each pack.

It took me 4 boxes to complete my first set. Collation is non-existent in this set, and only improves with sheer numbers. Theoretically, I should get 10 sets from 10 boxes, but I only got 5 and a TON of doubles. There's going to be a lot of trade lists, and the postage from shipping extras all over the US is going to add to the cost of base sets.

yes 2 red boxes (of 5-packs) and 1 blue box (of 5-packs) or 15 individual packs. I got 1 set almost complete that is only missing 2 cards. I also have a bunch of doubles that I haven't collated yet. I have a maybe 3/4 of a second set out of those doubles.

I also got 3 foil, 3 sketch cards, 6 silvers, 4 comics and 14 coupon backs. or something like that. Gonna play with them all tomorrow and decide what to trade and what to sell. Even though I'm disappointed in the collation etc... I have to admit I had a LOT of fun opening the packs and finding the last (almost) few cards I needed. Brought me back to why I fell in love with collecting wackys in the first place.

It sounds, though, that the poor collation of the base cards continued.

The 1 pack and the 5 pack use the same boxes. There’s either one silver foil sealed pack inside or five silver foil packs inside.

I wasn't sure. Those boxes are rather large looking for just one pack of cards! I originally thought the large box shown during pre-orders represented the outer box for the 5-pack group.

Topps doesn't give a flying (insert your own expression) about the Wacky Packages fan base. I get that their main source of revenue is baseball cards. Anybody know if Topps does this same thing to the GPK or Star Wars prints?
Did they fire everybody that actually had a work ethic? Or common sense?
Oh I forgot: common sense isn't. And Topps customer service isn't.

I purchased 13 8 card packs of the 2022 Elvis Presley Heritage cards. It was a 40 card set with a 10 card movie subset plus parallels and a relic card. Each pack was 7 base cards plus a parallel, insert or relic, so 13 packs should have yielded 2 base sets plus dupes. I actually got 1 complete base and 3 cards shy of the second, so not too bad. The movie insert set however… only 1 movie card in 13 packs! Since the end of January when the cards shipped, only about 35 movie cards have turned up on eBay, and 5 of the 10, only one or two have turned up, so only 1 complete set could have been gotten that way so far. I still need 3 to finish my set! So conclusion, not too bad on collation except the movie cards.

Some of us are simple people on a budget who just want the essentials. Hopefully a few nice folks here can help some of us out with completing our base sets. I'm totally OK with them having chase cards, border variants, coupon backs, comic strip cards, and sketches in Wacky Packages sets, but please don't make the base set expensive to accomplish! Some of us are simple people on a budget who just want the essentials. Hopefully a few nice folks here can help some of us out with completing our base sets. It seems to depend on which 5 boxes you get. I did get a base set from my first 4 boxes, so by that standard, Topps did well. I also pulled 5 sketches which reasonably could have been sold off, along with the other 15 inserts, to cover the original $90 cost. I think Topps did an overall good job, except for the comics. 10 boxes ($1,000 to order) and only 1 set of 5 cards is a FAIL in my book. And what happened to bluedevilok should never happen!
And some of the stickers are outstanding! Kudos to all involved in dreaming up and producing some great Wackys!!

Probably quite a few if that’s the way you approached it. Of course, in those days, insert and sketch odds got so long that people bought 100s and 100s of packs and thus base cards became “swill” if I remember the term correctly. I guess this is the first time a Wacky set will be without “swill”.

Pat, yup looks like comics are scarce all around. Right now there are only 6 auctions on eBay and they range from $37.99 to $65.99. No one has listed a complete set of 5 yet but that could be a $200 and up item I guess.

At .10 a card, you could afford to buy more. At the estimated 2.81 a card, that is to expensive to gather swill. Hrmmm .10 to 2.81...is that keeping up with inflation?

You know I think you hit the nail on the head. More than collation it’s this crippling inflation that’s killing set costs. If a single card is now $1.50 or so then a 50 card base set is a $75 item at cost. Far from what we were paying in 2004!

I ended up buying just a single $20 box as I was afraid that the $90 five pack wouldn't yield a base set. Sounds like it was hit or miss on that happening. For what it's worth, I got a blue box and two coupons (if memory serves) as my "hits". Disappointed that I didn't get something better, but happy to not have gotten any silver borders.

Patrick, yeah that’s more consistent with rarity and such. So around $75 for a base set and $180 for a Comic set. The one thing that seems completely out of whack is a coupon set for a grand! That $20 a card! If coupons are one per pack, I would think the cost would be much lower! Maybe Gary got his cards early when the collation was very Wacky and thinks they are rarer than they actually are.

Sure.
My estimate is about 5000 packs.
Likely most of those were in the 5-packs.
So maybe something like 100 single pack boxes and 980 five pack boxes.

Say, I just received my 2023's about an hour ago. I'm a little bit miffed and I'd like to know what to make of this.
First, I made two orders at roughly the same time: one order was for eleven 5-pack boxes and the other order was for ten 5-pack boxes. The two orders came in two separate boxes.
I just got done opening the order with the eleven five-packers and I only received six sketches and five rainbow foils. All eleven boxes had five packs per box.
Am I missing something here? Should I not have received at least ten sketches and ten rainbow foils?
I'd really like to hear if I've misunderstood what I should have received sketch and foil-wise according to Topps.
I'm gonna take a little break before I open the 2nd order.

I am not going after any of the parallels. I love the coupon backs, but was missing so many it was impractical to attempt to assemble a second set (I promised my first set to someone else, and still need three cards for that!). But, I am keeping a set of comics for myself.

I did receive ten comics, but I'd gladly give them back for the sketches and foils. I did have one pack that had four coupons and every pack did have at least one, plus an insert. That's little consolation though.

So when it states Sketch 1:5, I read that to be 1 in every five pack. It doesn't state ~1:5 or approximately 1:5. So in my 1st order, I had 55 packs (11 five -packs) which should have yielded eleven sketches and eleven rainbow foils.
Anyone else read it that way?

My primary goal is for ONE complete base set.
I wasn't planning to, but might try to collect the coupons since it seems like there are still many extra floating around the trading post thread. I really like the coupons, but it was too cost prohibitive for me to try to get them all by purchasing directly from Topps.
Not interested in the silver or foils and the comics are too expensive at the moment. I'll doubt I'll get more than two comics with my order..

I see a few eBay listings of the #1/25 foils for around $100 each whereas the regular numbered ones are $40.

I've always liked the coupons and comics. Despite the fact that Topps only sent me FOUR coupons out of the 20 packs I bought, I decided to try for as many as I could. Probably won't get the whole set, but I am down to needing only 12 now, thanks to the frenzied trading this weekend. I'm trading my foils and extra base stickers. Not many takers for my silvers, even though I'm willing to trade those as well.
I finally got an email Wednesday or Thursday from a "Consumer Relations Specialist," who simply stated that they're looking into it. So, I MIGHT get my missing 16 coupons in a couple of months, but I'm not waiting that long to trade obviously.

Fedex finally came through as I got my two boxes today. I wanted to share my breakdown. I have already posted the items I have for trade, so please go take a look to see if I can help
anyone complete a set. Here is the breakdown:
Blue Box: 50 Base, 3 Silvers, 5 Ads, 1 Foil and 1 Sketch
Red Box: 50 Base, 2 Silvers, 5 Ads, 1 Foil, 1 Comic, 1 Sketch
I did not get perfect collation as I am missing 4 base stickers.
All and All I was pleased to get the two foils and two sketch.

This issue is weird. As Tom said there should be a clear and present “Add image to post” link so you can easily just add an image to a post. It’s always been there for me but this week it disappeared from my phone. It just was gone and I couldn’t find a workaround. Finally I just posted the image with my computer which still showed the link.

FYI, I FINALLY got a response from Topps today--after I sent another email on Thursday asking about what happened with the first complaint in which I simply asked for the 16 coupon backs I was promised in the item description (I only received 4 coupons out of the 20 packs--not boxes--I ordered). As I suspected, they want me to pack up all my cards I received and send them back. After they get them, they'll send me another 20 packs--probably with worse collation than before. Yeah, right! I've already traded or sold many of the original cards, so that's not gonna happen.

You only have to send them the correct number of cards, not the exact ones you got from them (if that helps). I can lend you some to send back, if that will help.

Trying to generate some more discussion here. Were folks pleased with the collation and how hard it was to complete a base set? What about the chasers? ? It seemed kind of odd that they sold out quickly, do members think that was legitimate?
When I heard that the base cards were random, I was a little worried but it turned out to be not too bad for me. Thanks to the members here, I didn't have to resort to eBay to complete the set. I still had lots of extras, though.
Still, I would have preferred to be guaranteed a base set in a 5 pack box with a set amount of random chasers and a sketch card.

Well I finally received my box of Wacky's I pulled this sketch card, That I think is great, I'm not sure what wacky it is from. In the 5 packs of cards there were not only doubles, but triples did any one else have this experience? Also they are no longer stickers? Granted I have not bought a new set in a long time. When did this happen.

I think the stickerless thing happened around 2017 - the 50th Anniversary series weren't stickers for sure. I had multiple five pack boxes and didn't collate each box, so I don't know about the triples thing. How close did you come getting a base set?

What do you mean by "are"? They are not physically, one can not peel and stick them. Or do you mean metaphorically that they are stickers.

I thought everyone knew this. The master lists refer to them as stickers, too. I've been using my extra Attacky Packages stickers to decorate packages recently - although I had saved a ton of Flashbacks for that purpose, they no longer stay stuck, and I have to tape those on :sad:

When I want to stick these new stickers, I just make a cut around the black, peel and now you have a die-cut.

David, it’s awesome, was it painted by Neil Canera? I am so glad to see you’re keeping up with writing gags! Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of ‘em in future Wacky sets!

Yes. Neil does all of them. I sent in a bunch too late that will hopefully be used the next round and I wrote a bunch for Halloween so fingers crossed!
