A question:
Is having a "4 checklist puzzle back" mean that it takes four different checklists to make a puzzle? Is this new from last time?

Please, Topps, guarantee us if we order four sets we'll get all four different panels and four different checklist backs (if that's indeed what is going to happen). And a guaranteed sketch card would be nice as well.

Happy to oblige, sir! As for the 4-piece puzzle, it is a new element, but honestly, I don't know how it's being distributed. I agree with you, though: It would be nice if you bought 4 sets, you got all 4 puzzle pieces!

Well, I was all set to purchase one pack like I did last year, but knowing about the variations and now the checklist puzzle backs, I may have to order more! I'll decide by the weekend and make my purchase and be happy with what I get, and hope I can slowly fill any needs at a reasonable cost somewhere down the line.

No "Series 2" on these. But the copyright says 2022 instead of 2021. That's the easiest way to differentiate them.

I ordered 3 packs. Hoping to at least get three diff Black Cards and Puzzle Pieces. Will hopefully pull a sketch I can trade for the other two cards.
I will be OK with a set of base cards plus the 4 black 4 Panel cards and the 4 card puzzle set. Maybe I will get one variation in my packs. Not chasing the full
Vari set due cost constraints at present.

Yeah, I think everyone's going to really like this one! I tried to match the look and feel of the original wacky ads, so hopefully fans enjoy the "retro" look.

Thanks again to Neil. For anyone interested, below is the Wonky Ad sketch I received. Two of my three collecting passions are Wackies (and other parody items) and dinosaur card sets. This was a terrific crossing of the streams. Also below are some sketch items that Neil did several years ago associated with a Topps Dino card release.

It’s a silly one, but… time machines. Things like toys or replicas of the various time machines from books, movies, television show, cartoons, etc. Some are easy. There are tons of TARDIS items out there. Some are more challenging to get representation for. For the television show TIME TUNNEL, I had to settle for a picture and a patch used on one of the uniforms from the show.

There are tons of TARDIS items out there. Some are more challenging to get representation for. For the television show TIME TUNNEL, I had to settle for a picture and a patch used on one of the uniforms from the show.

Been meaning to try and modify it by adding some weird landing jets like they had protruding from the one on the television series. But mostly the memories of the ear-bug opening theme and Gronk's, "ooh, ooh!".

Joe E. Ross' line of "Ooh, ooh!" was also uttered by two Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters - Botch in Help! It's the Hair Bear Bunch! and Sargeant Flint in Hong Kong Phooey, two series that I watched back in the day.

Not that I'm aware of. The current hobby knowledge is that the issue didn't even make it to the test phase before being canceled. I believe the only thing that has ever turned up is that box partial, probably an internal mock-up.

within just a couple hours, I received a notice my Wonkys were out for delivery
then received a notice that the package had arrived in town too late to get on a delivery truck, and a new delivery date pending
then eventually got a notice they were actually delivered
I do wonder about Fedex at times.
Fairly good collation, maybe? And all my sketch cards were stellar!
There are several of the Wonky variations that showed up 50/50 to the standard,
but the remaining are tougher at 1/5, 1/10 or harder

I’m not sure if it’s clear yet.
The ones I had a tough time with, others have found in abundance.
And with the Ultra Bite and Carp’n, there may be some debate on which is which version

Received my three sets today. Was happy to pull one sketch, three different 4 panel chase cards and three different checklists. Got three varis (one from each pack). Only need to pick up a few cards to have what I want which is the full checklist puzzle and all 4 chase cards. Not chasing the Varis.

Has anyone mentioned and/or noticed how the '22 sketch cards are smaller than '21?

I received my 4 packs on Saturday. I only bought 1 pack last year, but since there were 4 checklist and 4 multi cards, I figured I probably spent at least as much as 4 packs worth to finish the 2021 set, so I bought 4. I got 3/4 checklist and 3/4 multi cards, and either 7 or 11 variation cards! Are we sure the "Crummie" variation is the "PHEW!" sign and not the "P.U." sign, because I got 4 of the "PHEW!" versions! And to really make my weekend, I actually got not one, but two sketches!

I still need the "Ultrabite" and "Crummie" variations (if "PHEW!" is common), the upper right corner checklist and a multi to finish the set, but it should be a lot easier that finishing last year's set. I have an extra "Glam" and "Bot Tape" variation card and 3 extra "Crummie" variations if "PHEW!" is really the variation.

I'm not 100% sure on the Ultra Bite standard and variation, and your pulls are yet another indication they may be reversed.
Both seem very plentiful? And a lot of people had about 50/50, so it's not clear cut

"Put Toothaches to Rest" should be the common variety for Ultra Bite, at least that was the original plan.
