This is going to be tough with the sticker variations for all 9 of the base stickers.

I believe that you have the chance of receiving a whole set with the variations. You either get the whole set of variations or the standard set. At least, this is how I read it.

I wish Topps would give odds of getting a variation.
I read it as getting variations randomly inserted within each set, similar with what was done with the Wacky Ads.

This set includes my first contribution to this series. Neil did a super job giving my Pell Mell concept a vintage feel. It shouldn't be too hard guessing which classic it spoofs!

I just purchased the set from Topps. I really loved series 4, which is the only other Attacky Packages set I have been able to find... Jeff

I have not bought Attacky Packages before. Are these considered Wackies? I am having trouble getting into the always horrible Topps Web Site. I finally got through. It appears they are Mars Attacks themed Wackys?

Not sure if there's a definitive description for "Attacky Packages". Depending on the fan, some prefer to think of them as Wacky Packages with a Mars theme. Others refer to them as Mars Attacks with a wacky theme! Anyway, I think no matter which camp you're in, they're meant to be fun for everyone!

I came up with the ideas for the Cereal cards and Neil worked his magic and made the concepts better and the final art looks great with very bold color!!!

Not sure if there's a definitive description for "Attacky Packages". Depending on the fan, some prefer to think of them as Wacky Packages with a Mars theme. Others refer to them as Mars Attacks with a wacky theme! Anyway, I think no matter which camp you're in, they're meant to be fun for everyone!
I love Attacky Packages, as they combine my love for the original Wacky Packages 1-16 series and Mars Attacks!

I just bought a set and noticed that too. When did that start? I don't recall it before. I haven't bought the monthly sets for a while, instead picking up base sets on ebay.

Topps has always charged sales tax on sales to New York State customers (even at their table at the Allentown show!); I think it changed to everyone maybe 2 years ago? I have paid approximately $2,050 in sales tax on Topps purchases this year >( >( That includes sales tax on shipping charges, but their free "smartpost" is so unreliable that I just gave up on it.

I'm in FL. I want to say Topps started charging tax about 2 years ago. eBay a few months ago. I used to check eBay first for just about everything. Now it's one of the last places I check due to tax. There are still some states that don't require tax on internet sales and even in my state some sites charge it and some don't. It's really hit and miss and there seems to be no consistency to it. Obviously, I look for sellers that don't charge it.

So if the tax rate is 5%, then you spent 20x that much at Topps? That's a lotta Wackys; you should be an MVC!

caveat: series 3 sold more packs (1916), but that # needs to be divided by 3, as it took three packs to build a base set.

Yep, that set was a pain!! If I recall correctly, the sticker titles were random in the packs.

According to tracking, my sets will be here by 8 pm, but as of 2:50 pm Fedex doesn't even have the package :-\ :-\

What was the rate of variation cards per set ordered? Was it like 1 card per set or did you get complete variation sets in place of the regular base sets at certain times?

I wish I knew the answer to that. I am going to just take all 20 set and first collate them by number (1,2,3, ect) then I am going to compare each number to itself and see if I can spot the difference. At least I have a plan for Friday.

Maybe Neil can send out pictures of what the base cards are and then we can search and figure out the variations…

Wish I knew what the ratio of the variations were! It'll be interesting to see. Once more people get there sets, I'll post some of the variations so people can compare what cards they have.

I haven’t actually tried to do that, although there was a shipment I should have asked
I did notice last fall that FedEx suspended their money back guarantees for most services through the holidays, and checking now, it’s extended to late January. I’m sure they will keep finding reasons to extend that further.
My Attcky set went to Indianapolis and has been sitting there for more than a day now.

I noticed that some Wacky December 2021 sketch cards have shown up on ebay listed as Attacky packages sketch cards, some of them must have been mixed in with the Attacky sketches? I don't think anyone has their December sets yet....

I love the stickers!! Funny that the puzzle is Mashbot instead of one of the Topps titles, I am surprised that it wasn't Galactic Tale Kids.
My variation sets were like others report, 1:5. Sketches were scarce, at least for me, 3 in 85 packs. Here they are (two by Floydman and the third by Scheres):

my sketch distribution was similar. I was guessing 1:15. But maybe it should be more like 1:20?
And so far, all the sketches appear to be the December Monthly set sketches (good spot, Charles!)
I wonder if Topps mixed up the two stacks of sketches, and all Neil's Attacky sketches will show up in the December sets?

I was very disappointed to get 2021 sketches when I was expecting Attackys.

My box came today, I was hopeful to hit a sketch card as I bought 12 sets. I read people were getting 1:15 or so, and I thought maybe I could defy the odds a bit and pull one. But in 12 packs I got no sketches, and no variants. Just 12 packs of the exact same thing. :'(

So far this set is sounding problematic for large buyers. No sketches in 15 packs. The wrong sketches when you do pull one. Hopefully they send a "remedy sketch to those who were dealt lame cards.

My sketch rate was about 1:29, but I wasn't the worst.
