I understand that most of these sets went straight from wrappers into collections, but if anyone has a "mutt" set with issues, I'd be interested in it. If anyone has any ideas on where such a set can be found, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks! - Pete

That I bet will be tough, I have seen low grade cards, however they are due to creases and bends not due to circulation.

Why not just "make" a set from reissues? Same titles and if you are shooting for low grade anyway, why not. This is what I advise people who contact me and don't want to spend 4 figures to get a set.

A re-issues substitute set would fine by me, but I thought some of the 16th's cards weren't ever re-issued? If they are all available, then I'd be happy to go that route. - Pete

I’d say maybe a dozen or so were reprinted between Reissue Series 3 & 4, and the 1982 minis. Maybe a few more if you factor in the two Flashbacks series.
I always relied on the Gallery book from Paul A. to pore over those titles and series which I didn’t have in my collection. The Abrams books would be even better if they hadn’t stopped at Series 14.

That's what I have done. I have a handful of original 16th series stickers, some are the 1979-80 reprints, and the rest I printed from high quality scans on my computer printer. It's better than nothing, and looks decent in the 9-card pages in my Wacky Packages binders (the 1999 four-binder set).

Yes, and if they'd included the Die-Cuts and the Wacky Ads, too.

What would you sell a full NRMT 16th set, with extra Scoot N/C, complete puzzle and wrapper? Jeff Mac
