I've been reorganizing my Wackys and happened to come across the "TS" cards ("Mutty Bars TS1," "Grave-Nuts TS2," "Hoppy Meal TS4," "7-Pup TS5," etc.) which were included as bonus cards in various postcard sets. My question is: Can anyone tell me what "TS" stands for? Thanks!

Top Shelf
I printed them long ago.....
-
Really? I never would have guessed. Thank you!

Those are some great Wackys!! Hoppy Meal is one of my favorites of the postcard bonus cards. Never knew what the "TS" stood for, so thanks!
-
Wait! I should check the titles.
Are you talking about the Top Shelf cards series
Those couple of dudes produced years back?
Or actual Wackies?
They did go by TS1 and so on for the sets produced.

I am unable to find written corroborating evidence, but for some reason my brain seems to think the TS cards from the Topps Wacky Package Post Card releases stood for "Topps Store". Maybe because these sets were only available through the online store, faulty synaptic firings, or general I-am-wrongness, but there ya go. Neil should know for sure.

That's exactly right. TS = Topps Store. It was something Mike Jaspersen wanted to use to differentiate the online store from ANS series.

Thanks again!

The postcard series of Bonus Wackies is great. TS 1 - TS 21 comprises a bunch of great titles. 7 Pup, Gaggin Strips, H8, Mr Ghoulbar, Candy Corpse and Hersheep are a few of the titles I like. These cards also look great in a binder due to their colorful backs.

Absolutely! I have a special binder with all the TS titles. Off the top of my head, my favorites are H8, Hoppy Meal, Gaggin' Strips and Booty Pebbles.

I also like Marigold Whip, although I wish the character was larger.
I wonder if Brad still has the original art for Gaggin' Strips

I think everyone here would have to admit that the quality of this set is rather extremely good and definitely worth its own binder. The titles just jump out at you everywhere. I only wish Topps would have continued with such high standards.

Mine are kept in a special binder with the other bonus material that was released with the different Postcard Series

I always like Mutty Bars the best, though there are certainly some good ones. Booty Pebbles stands out as well, though perhaps because it was one of the more "adult" Wackys IMO.
-
Yeah, the postcard series were good. I really miss them.

And I'm guessing that NS on the promo postcards meant "Non-Sport", am I right? Or was it "Non-Store"?

I'm sure it is the former.
