I killed a 2010 Halloween sealed pack this morning, and pulled #432, the bottom right corner puzzle piece from Starbeast. Hopefully someone here is looking for this, or knows someone who is.

I own the Starbeast card. Was this title made into an actual 9 piece puzzle at some point?
-
Yes it was, I think it was a total of 6 possible puzzles based on the number of sketch cards.

Here is a scan of my completed 6 piece puzzle as an example.

I seem to recall that Brad also managed to assemble 6 sketches for a full Starbeast puzzle. I'm curious - are all of your sketches numbered sequentially? And, is it possible that the piece I pulled (#432) might better match one of the previously completed puzzles?

I used my scanned images and cut and pasted just the puzzle together... shown below. So you can tell they are not 6 pieces from the same exact puzzle. Mine are numbered 051, 136, 220, 327, 369, and 495 from top left to bottom right. Since none of them are within 6 numbers of one another, they were either numbered randomly with the other sketches, or I managed to get 6 pieces from 6 different puzzles.
Kudos to Neil however... they match up pretty well considering he hand drew the different puzzles of this title.

Perhaps Neil could chime in and tell us if the 6 card puzzles were drawn with consecutive numbers.

I have a completed Starbeast and Tootsie Troll puzzle with extra sketch cards . The starbeast numbers I have in my puzzle ( matched up the best) are
178, 93, 8, 474,411, and 306. I will have to look at the extras.

I would like to know that as well. Like you, I thought there were 6 of each puzzle (StarBeast and Tootsie Troll). Between Campy, you and I, we account for sketch numbers: 008, 051, 093, 136, 178, 220, 306, 327, 369, 411, 432, 474, 495
So this is 13 of the 36 Star Beast puzzle sketches. The closest together are 306/327 and 411/432 and 474/495... each 21 apart. So it doesn't appear they were consecutively numbered or we would have seen several closer together. In fact, it looks as if they were deliberately spaced apart. I can see wiley Neil doing this :] So in my mind, the "real" question is whether there is any way to tell which sets of 6 puzzle pieces go together, if at all. Wouldn't it be a hoot if Neil just drew six different sketches of each position piece and there are no true sets of six?

Throwing out a thought, haven't looked at the images to check, but maybe there are 5 of each puzzle, each one containing 6 cards numbered 0## or 1## or 2## or 3 ## or 4##?

Interesting thought. Maybe Campy can post the numbers of some more of his extra sketch puzzle pieces and/or Neil will step in and enlighten us.

I wish I could remember what the formula was but that was a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away)! But I might have some notes on it somewhere. If I find anything, I'll certainly post it here. In the meantime, let's hope Mark can help with additional numbers.
