The Topps Vault has graciously allowed me to give you a sneak peak at a new Wacky Postcard binder coming Mid-April!!! It's going to be a super high quality vinyl binder and should be able to hold all of the postcards, with room for some new ones, as well. Plus, there's going to be a super secret cool suprise inside (hint: it's not a postcard)!!! Should be a boon for all you wacky postcard fanatics!

The current plan is a 1" binder with extra pages. So, there should be room for many series to come!A little bigger might be better, unless they're planning on subsequent binders to hold what I hope are many more sets of postcards! But, most important, PLEASE ask them to use D-rings!!
When will pre-orders of the Wacky Packages postcard binder be ready?I could be wrong but I do'nt think there's a (pre-order) for the "Binders"
This is a question for Neil and DaveI believe they're having a FREE (pre-order) Just kidding! LOL. ;D
Any word on how much $ the binders will cost?

I heard the binder's been canceled. :P :P
Was that the first use of the "that's been canceled" joke on this forum?
I used it the other day when I made a comment about the forum fights having been canceled.
Someone mentioned thetoppsvault would be selling (not auctioning) uncut old school sheets. Any idea when this will happen?

Thanks! I hope everyone enjoys! I think the postcard binder was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay overdue!

DrDeal

more sketchcards?! It was considered, but I have something different in store for the bindersSometimes different is good.
Any updates on when these will be ready for purchase? The last I heard Kevin it will be a "few" weeks???
The last I heard Kevin it will be a "few" weeks???
Postcard Binders will be released last week of April! No presells, though, so keep your eyes peeledHopefully they won't be so limited that they sell out before people have a shot at them.

Binders are online for sale!!!!Speaking of "Binders" I got my "Silly Cd" (Binder) Yesterday...It's awesome!!! :o Thanks for the heads up Kevin! Your WACKY friend...RonZ 8)
Binders are online for sale!!!!I just checked them out...There's (3) different ones & they're all FANTASTIC!!! :o Will (Topps) be bringing all (3) to sell at the show??? :^)
Thanks for the heads up! Sounds like some neat extras included. There wasn't anything listed with the ANS binder though?
Are there any free shipping codes this time around?
From what I can see there is a "stamp sheet" with the postcard binder and a "commemorative wrapper" with the Old School binder, and nada for the ANS binder. I wonder what the stamp sheet is?We will find out soon enough...I just ordered all 3!!! ;)
We will find out soon enough...I just ordered all 3!!! ;)"But don;t be sad, cause 2 out of 3 ain't bad"
Let's be real here people. These are over-priced swill. Where are the bonus stickers? I couldn't give a rats ass about some "stamp sheet". And a "commemorative wrapper"? What the hell were they thinking????? These are a real let down in my opinion. I will be buying 0.My first reaction when I saw these binders was the same as yours.......no bonus stickers? Everything should come with bonus stickers. No free shipping? I am going to wait a day or two before ordering any of them, I just added all the of them to my shopping cart and the estimated shipping is $15.75 which seems high to me. The stamp sheet and the commemorative wrapper might be something cool.
Are all of the binders 1 inch or 3 inch binders?
I just ordered the Old School and Postcard binders. Shipping was listed as $14.25 but was changed to $9.12
via UPS when I went to pay via paypal. I live in NJ. The reduced shipping was welcome. Both are listed as Topps Online exclusives so I purchased them thinking they won't make it to the Philly show. Thanks forthe cool binders.

The wrapper is a real wax wrapper. The type that I would have liked to have had as the real wrappers. So this sort of completes the OLDS1 set. It's styled after the original series wrappers and some are even slightly off-register on purpose. I made one into a wax pack to show you how that would look.
I didn't want a bonus sticker for a few reasons. One, I was avoiding any chase stickers apart from the boxes. Two, the binders are limited to 500 so inevitably some people would not be able to complete an OLDS sticker set which would suck. Three, they would have been cards not stickers as the limited runs on these unlike bonus boxes for Target and Wal-Mart makes making them into stickers too costly. I'm not into any of these becoming anything other than stickers. Well, hope people like them. The binders are super sweet and I have a bunch of the wrappers and they look and feel fantastic.
I have not seen the stamps but they also sound really great.

After seeing this I really want Topps to get the USPS to produce wacky packages stamps! Now that would be truly "WACKY"
I posted in the Philly thread that Topps will bring boxes, binders, uncut sheets and posters to the show but in numbers based on responses here.

I received the Old School and Postcard binders tonight. Very cool Puffy Binders. Much puffier than any other binders I own. They almost feel inflated. Very soft and puffy vinyl feel to them. The stamp sheet is quite nice and I think the numbers were to give them a "stamp feel" ie: numbers instead of 8 Cents etc. The wax packCan you post a scan of the stamps?
completes the Old School set. Great job on these. Makes me want to buy one of the 2010 series Binders also.
DrDeal
Can you post a scan of the stamps? My pics won't post as they are not formatted correctly and I don't know how to change that in my camera.
Got my binders in just moments ago, I'm sure glad I made the order for they are really nice.Just got mine (all 3) also Brother...I agree, it's a great time to be WACKY!!! The (Stamp-Sheet) was a lot cooler than I thought it would be & the "Wrapper" was a nice touch w/the (Old School) "Binder"
Here is what the binder stamp sheet looks like.

I just got all three of the binders and they are outstanding. The quality is top notch. Judging these by the original pics the store had up is a waste of time. These are really nice. I think they need a few more 8x10 pages in the OLDS binder other than the one for the wrapper as I could not fit the red envelope from the boxes into the 5x7 sleeves plus I wanted to put the flyers and coupons into the binder as well. Ah well, I'll pick some up at the Philly Show if some dealer has them. The back of the postcard binder is very funny.I didn't order any because the Topps-store description and pics was so lame. If they are available at the show, I may pick them up, saves shipping too. Seems kind of unscientific on how Topps is taking counts on what products to bring to the show. Seems they are likely going to run out of product!

I got all 3 binders today. Awesome! I love the "puffiness" of them. That wax wrapper for the OLDS binder is too fantastic! Good call by Topps to provide this as a bonus item since they were unable to do that for the actual packs.
Does anyone know if there will be binders for any of the other ANS? The one I got today read WPOS-ANS1 on the invoice. It certainly looks like it was designed for one specific series. Just wondering.
You are actually using the stamps from the sheet? I guess that's what they are made for but they are limited to only 250 so I'm keeping mine intact!nNo I did not get mine,Browns truck broke down we'll have to pick them up tomorrow.
Souvenir is one of those words that looks really weird in print! The Dino in stamp #4 is a Tyrannosaurus Rex from Rex Mix...a postcard gag for Chex Mix. It's holding a piece of Chex Mix snack in its hands!
I feel totally out of it! I haven't followed the postcard train. Where is my mind?!
WTF is the dino holding in #4?
A waffle?
The binders are really nice. I might use them as pillows. It's a nice touch that the pages are included. The wrapper and stamps are cool, although I have to admit I would always prefer bonus stickers as extras.
They should have included a bonus sticker with the ANS binder. That would have made sense, the (other 2) each had a bonus item??? :^)
Yesterday I was excited to receive my binders that I did not look them over in detail. Today I seen what I thought was a piece of debri but in fact it was a small scratch on the cover of the postcard binder. Do you think this calls for a return becuase I would also have to pay shipping to & from Topps, if so that in itself is costly. I'm leaning to just accept the imperfection as is, what would you do?

I too have all my ANS in one really thick binder. There is no way that all 6 will fit in the new binder. I may just put the new binder on the shelf for now and use it for the ANS 2010 at the end of the summer.
Ron & Brad, I was thinking the same thing that it's not too bad and those shipping costs are just too much.
Unless you were planning to protect it and not use it you would most likely get little scratches from moving it around as you use it anyway.
That's just it, I was not sure if I was going to use them for the stickers or keep them just a collectible. You are right, if used for sticker storage there will eventually be wear & tear.
I think that 9 to Life cat did it ! ;DThe binders appear to have been very well made, with good slanted D-ring construction, and I like them, thinking I'll put one set away and use one. I would have preferred non-puffy binders, like Rittenhouse produces, as I have had problems with the puffy types getting permanent 'dents' in the past, but we'll see.
I got the Postcard and Old School Binders and they are really cool. They seem to be larger than the standard size, buy it is just the puffyness of it that makes it seem that way. Anyway the sturdyness of the front and back covers is what I was concerned with by looking at the initial pic.s on the Topps site (which are different now) but I am very happy with these.

The binders appear to have been very well made, with good slanted D-ring construction . . .That line has be laughing! That's some classic old school jargon! Nobody will have a clue what that sentence means in 30 years.
Just want to clarify that the binders are NOT limited production. The lowest they could order was 400 or so. If they sell out they can always make more. Sorry for the confusion.

I wonder if these things are still around.

I did not realize these were limited to 250!?!
That was what Dave originally posted but since then he said it may be more like 500 so we're not certain yet.
I received my Wacky Packages Postcard binder in today's mail. It fits the Wacky Postcards and other collectible postcards well!
