Title: Question about 1967 Unpunched Ratz die cut
Post by: Rabanv on August 02, 2016, 06:36:06 PM
I have come to notice that a unpunched Cracked Animals 1967 die cut seems to show up on Ebay far ore than a unpunched Ratz. From what I found out awhile back ,that both cards in 1967 were discontinued at the same time.Does anyone know why that Ratz is far more tough to find ?

I have seen at least two punched Ratz on eBay at once before, so I bet a lot of them are likely punched. Aside from that, my only guess can be that a lot of Ratz were left in parent's attics and basements, yet to be revealed.

Some collectors also like to try to get them all, so a lot of them are with a private collector most likely. I don't know all of the collectors like others on the forum, though.

The premise is flawed. There happen to be a few Crackeds available right now, but Ratz is more common in high grade and over time the two turn up pretty equally.

Why does Rabanv show only five posts when there have been at least 7 or 8 threads started by him on the unpunched Ratz phenomenon? I can't seem to find any of those threads now.

He probably deletes them all just for the new one to get attention.

If he deletes a post originating a thread, do all responses get deleted too? I know I responded to his questions several times, can't find any of it.

I guess so.
