I think spoofing a virus linked Microencephalapoly would never happen by Topps for good reason.
...do you think a 2016 Wacky Package Sticker series could do a sticker spoof regarding the recent threat of ZIKA VIRUS (One example: Helpless Zikaers, a spoof of Hostess Zingers cakes)? Why do you think this would be a good idea?
The Tylenol poisonings were big news back then, and to do such a thing would've been in bad taste at best and offensive at worst.
Bad taste and offensiveness is the M.O. of the average Wacky. I don't see any issues.
There is a huge difference between the type of humor that Topps puts forth with Wackies and humor that seeks to make tragedy funny.
The former is meant to put a smile on your face and make your heart sing a little. The latter comes from a dark place and brings nothing positive to the world.
I liked the X-Rated Ivory Snow from the Lost Series...... 8)
I keep mine backwards in a colored back sleeve so it can't be seen. And, I won't show anyone the otherwise awesome Lost binders I have because it is smack in the top middle on the back of them.

Have you forgotten about New Super Malaria Bros.?
This brings up an interesting point. I have noticed that comedians, TV shows, etc. will use certain diseases in a humorous context. I used to think this odd but then slowly realized it was a very fine line with some "rules". It seems to be acceptable to use ailments like malaria, leprosy, polio, chicken pox, etc. but not others like cancer, for example. I think this boils down to a difference between conditions we have cures for, and are considered to be conquered by medicine and science in some respect versus diseases that can still run rampant and affect many people in very dangerous ways. We can make light of polio, because it is no longer of immediate concern or high risk.
Does Dolly Madison still produce snacks? I remember seeing the ads during the Peanuts Holiday specials but I don't recall ever trying them.

Speaking of 2016 S1,does anyone have any idea when it's coming(or even if it's coming)?
I haven't heard any of the artists say they're working on such......
Have you specifically asked any of the artists privately if they are working on this set? That's the ticket. I will PM someone and report back.
Andrew
I have not, but thanks for taking the initiative!
The company - Hostess Brands - still makes Zingers under the Hostess and Dolly brands.
Consider a Dolly Madison parody if Wacky Packages Old School 6 ever gets a green light - Kickstarter campaign or not.
A Dolly Madison parody would be awesome for Old School 6! :great:
I have also heard nothng so far.....can't cancel what's never been scheduled... 8)I think it might be...dare I say..............CANCELLED!!! 8) 8) 8)
"Deadly Medicine," perhaps?

I recall speaking with the new Topps rep at the last Philly show. He confirmed one new WP Retail release per year and Wacky MLB this year. So last fall the plan was to do one WP retail release in 2016; but at the time they were focused on Wacky MLB for early 2016 . That probably pushed Wacky 2016 towards the later part of 2016.

On a side note, it is extremely difficult finding vanilla zingers. Raspberry is all over the place but the vanilla (that tastes a bit lemony) is a unicorn.By sheer chance, I just roamed into my local 7-11 and looky what I found (had to collect 'em all):

Enjoy, but if your blood sugar is over 140 two hours after consuming 6 Zingers, you may have Pre-Diabetes. If that is the case we can discuss options.Way too late. I've been diagnosed diabetic for over 6 years now. My A1C is 6.7, so not horrible.

So far, I only ate the Vanilla ones. Never had them before, they're pretty good.

Bully Madison?
"Ashley Madison": Have your ice cream cake and eat it too!
Oscar Madison - for those who like hotdogs and the sports pages with their pastries.
A
Or maybe "Belly Madison", for someone who's eaten one too many Dolly Madison pastries.Hey now! LOL
What a great concept - Topps could produce (at least) 5 different variations on the Dolly Madison spoof: Bully, Belly, Ashley, Edith, and Oscar! :great:
Or Dollie Madison, tiny snack cakes for dolls and toys....A
