Happy Halloween!
What would Halloween be without a new Halloween parody? This is one of mine that was rejected, which Neil kindly painted (and improved!) for me. Now I'm going to share it with the Forum as a special Halloween treat. Hope you like it.
I'm going to have a few printed as postcards, so if you'd like one, just send me a PM with your mailing address. Not sure how quick turn around time will be to get them printed, but hopefully you'll receive them by Halloween :)
Please note this is NOT a Topps release! It's just a Halloween parody for forum members.

Well this is my rough. Maybe that's why it was rejected ;) Neil really turned it into something cool. Originally I was hoping to have it be a promo card or something, since there hasn't been a parody of the Postcard series itself yet.

Thanks for making the 2014 Halloween season special for us forum members! This was a lot of fun to paint especially because your rough was so well done! Hope to see a lot more of 'em in the future!

I received mine today John, and really like it! Perfect timing. Super sharp. Very nicely done. It makes for an extra special Wicked Halloween!
Maybe this was intended, but since we did not have a Topps Halloween postcard set this year, the ghostcards gag, that the cards are blank and made with invisible ink, make it even funnier and more relevant. Or maybe that was a major point in the creation of the title and I'm just slow on the draw. No matter, it's great!

Haha! Well actually I just had them done at VistaPrints.com, so I could always order more...
That site is crazy, you can have all sorts of stuff made, like mugs, shirts, etc. I was tempted to have some shirts or pens made up. As you can see I did get address labels, cause they were pretty cheap.

I got my postcard today too...and the bonus sketch was an unexpected surprise. Makes up for being too old to trick or treat!

When I went to my Halloween Postcard binder and explained to all the Halloween Postcards that their ranks would not be joined by a new set this year the response was shock, dismay and sadness. They could not understand how they were judged not worth continuing for this year. I told them everything would be alright. That a special Wacky Fan had stepped up to save the day and created one special card to join their ranks and restore order to the Wacky Halloween Universe. I told them that Fan's name is Duznt and they rejoiced. End of story. ;)

I left on Saturday morning, before the mail arrived, to head to Baltimore for 4 weeks. So I probably have received the card at home. Unfortunately, it will be a few days after Thanksgiving before I can see it in person. Thanks again for your generosity sharing with the group!

Glad everyone likes the Halloween treats (and tricks).
This "treat" was the best part of Halloween for me this year. I normally play scary music outside with strobe lights and dress up crazy and scare kids but not this year, the temperature was 41° and dropping, it was raining and very windy and I didn't get many trick or treaters at all. :-\

Hi John, Got my card today, it looks great & will fit well with the other postcards. As I was opening the envelope I had some halloween music playing, Frank Zappa's Goblin Girl, so it's a great Halloween. Thanks Again !!!!!

Got my Postcard/ Sketch Card /Collectable Return Address label today. Quite the cool trio. I bet some of you threw the label away. :'(
Thanks to Duznt for Saving Halloween. The postcard is Very nice! The other Halloween Postcards are getting acquainted with it right now and so far they have accepted it into their ranks.

Oh, some of my sketches were somewhat similar, but I tried to get creative and at least change a few things on each, and use different characters. There's a couple I'm particularly proud of, but probably none that are worth posting here ha ha. This is my first attempt at doing something artistic in a looooong time.
Neil's on the other hand are mostly all different, and all outstanding, as usual!

You're right! Us Wacky fans love Halloween. Still a bit peeved no Halloween Postcards. I'm sure it has to do with the last series taking so long to sell out. When it was super limited it was so much cooler.

I fixed the first post so the image shows there, too. Also fixed a post that used to show a sketch card.
And, as it says all through the thread, this is a postcard (although the sketches are regular card size).
