Very cool! Thanks for posting. I've enjoyed collecting the erasers, though I have to say I hope they improve on the collation for this new series. And, for the love of Pete, how can they not do an eraser of Count Funkula? (Of course, maybe they are. I just wish I would be consulted about what titles to choose).

No.
Previews lists items that are expected to ship in 2-3 months after its publication.
So the May Preview issue will have the July release ANS8, but the WPE2's are an October release, so maybe we'll see them in the July or August Previews

I think that the original dates we were hearing for the Wacky Erasers were actually in the March 2011 time frame. I know several of us, on the forum, pre-ordered from various Card shops expecting that date. As that date approached, the card shops started referring to a June availability date from their distributors. I was somewhat surprising then when reports verified that they were, in fact, available at Targets, Wal*marts and TRUs on the original release date.

I wonder if the collector's box means they're going to put them in little boxes instead of the little packs. Really trashed the stickers in the packs and makes 'em ripe for feeling for certain erasers.

Thanks for posting this. I had never thought of ordering something like this from Amazon, but it makes a lot of sense. It's cheaper and saves time than hunting them down in the wild (though I do enjoy that process in some ways).

that looks like it'll be the wal*mart box. short and squat.
these feeds might get trickier to collect if there's hardware on the outside of the box. some employees might think twice about letting you leave without paying for it somehow.

It will also suck when the realization comes to be that there IS interest in collecting these. I think some distributor people have already figured that out and are shuffling the contents to other boxes in stores, then selling the empties. It is just strange how I have seen this already in some Dollar Trees when trying to get a ANS 8 GF Box. Although, it could be just because there isn't enough space for them to put the display up, so to them, it is nothing to just empty the contents into another exsisting non wacky box then throw out the good one. :'(

I saw these today at my local Target. They had 3 of them, but no price listed, so I have no idea what they are going for in the wild. I did not buy any of them. They did not have any gravity feed boxes with packs, just the 12 piece set boxes.

I think he's just talking about that blue box with the 12 erasers in the picture. I don't think packs or gravity feeds are out yet.

Sounds like your luck was pretty good, or, as I'm hoping is the case, the distribution is a bit better this time around.

Thanks, F and S! I don't know if I completely missed it or completely forgot it. What an interesting assortment of images from over the years. While I wouldn't say they knocked it out of the park in terms of including my favorites, it's comparable to the first series of erasers, IMO. I think I'll probably order a gravity feed from Amazon and pick up one of the "12 packs" from Target.
I'll be curious to see if indeed the 4 "rare" ones are truly that. In my experience from series one, I would say the rare ones were pretty random.

I picked up 24 of the regular 3 packs with stickers up at Target yesterday. Very cool 24 pack gravity feed with actual eraser (Cherry Croak) in a blister on the front of the gravity feed itself. Just like in the pic in the above post but a tall GV.

1) I picked up a 16 pack box and the collation was much better than I found with series 1. I got a complete set out of the box.
2) Many of the die-cuts on the stickers go all the way through the backing.

I ordered a gravity feed of WP Erasers Series 2 from Amazon and was notified it shipped today. Should have it in hand this weekend.

Mine shipped today as well and says it will be delivered tomorrow. What is odd is you can't buy them now through prime at the discount price. You have to go through a 3rd party and pay $5 shipping which is probably ground.

I ordered a box last night from Amazon, but Amazon itself was sold out so it was actually sold by a third party (not sure if that's the exact term Amazon uses, but that's the idea). The box cost $65 but had to pay that extra $5 to ship. Not sure if that's worse or the fact I'll likely have to wait longer to get it, but so it goes. Perhaps Amazon will get them back in stock but I didn't want to wait.

I'm not sure if I have a wholesaler around here (Madison, WI), but that sounds like a great place to pick these up. Do you mind saying how much he was selling these for?

Thanks! Its always nice to try and find other outlets for this stuff other than retail. My Wholesaler was a cardshop owner who has since passed on and i recently moved. So for now i am S.O.L. and stuck buying retail for a while.

Unfortunately you have to have a resellers license for Sports Images. 16 pack boxes were around $30, gravity feeds around $45, mega box around $10.

Unfortunately you have to have a resellers license for Sports Images. 16 pack boxes were around $30, gravity feeds around $45, mega box around $10.
Oh well, no resellers license for me. Those prices, at least for the gravity feeds and mega boxes are great.

Just saw the erasers stocked in Wal-Mart today. Haven't bought any yet... probably will pick up a few packs the next time I'm there.

Just got a couple packs from walmart last night. I dont really like how Topps made the stickers more diecut. They are popping out really easily, and the stickers are way more bent up. But on the other hand, the erasers are really cool.

only found 2 versions though (there were 3 with series 1).
The majority had Apple Jerks/Cannibals/Foot Gushers, and just two looked like this one.

There's some on ebay, but was hoping to pick one up locally. The ones on ebay are actually listed as "18" pack boxes though.

But these don't come with the stickers... Or do they? If I remember correctly that is why I didn't bother grabbing those.
